would like to thank you for writing these letters to Michael and sharing your story with the world. It warms
my heart to think about the fact that this book will help others to see Michael in a different light. I hope
people are able to see what a kind, loving, caring, and generous person he was.
The relationship you’ve had with Michael is so fascinating to me. It completely intrigues me to think about
how many times fate stepped in and worked her magic to bring you two together so many times. How
your lives always crossed throughout the years is wonderful. You definitely were one of the lucky ones,
but I myself feel lucky for even being able to read about your experiences with him over the years. I can’t
thank you enough for sharing your story with everyone. I know he will forever live on in peoples’ hearts!
Your persistence amazes me; you never once gave up. You are such a strong woman! The fact that you
kept writing to him before you even knew he was reading is so inspiring because you showed such
determination and strong will and never lost hope. His life has always inspired me, but your story has
inspired me further. It has encouraged me to keep on fighting, and that’s been so hard to do since 6/25.
Some days are okay, but other days I don’t even know how I’m able to get up to go to school in the
morning. It’s all so overwhelming and I have yet to accept the fact that he is gone.
