Theresa Gonsalves was born November 24, 1958
in Boston, MA. She was the only girl among four
brothers and she was born right in the middle of
them! Raised in a dream world with Michael
Jackson as her savior, at the age of 12, his songs
gave her life reassurance. Theresa, however,
managed to turn her fantasy into her reality. With
diligence, one would never imagine coming from
a young girl, she flew to Las Vegas to meet
Michael Jackson for her 16th birthday. This
self-learned persistence and hard work makes
Theresa who she is today, a woman entrepreneur,
conquering life with her own company and
writing future novels.
Theresa had a fervent desire to write at a young
age. Her heartfelt letter writing inspired Michael
Jackson to want to meet her. He stated her
letters made him feel like she was talking directly
to him. In fact, she was talking to him through
her letters when he wrote the song Billie Jean
about her!
A devastating heartbreak made Theresa sit down
and write her first novel, OBSESSIONS which
details how her fixation with Michael Jackson, led
her to obsessive, destructive behavior. Writing
was her therapy.
Theresa currently resides in Las Vegas, NV. She
is single and has two sons, Mychal (17) and Todd
(26). She is also grandmother to Anya and
Dominic and Mother-in-law to Kasia.
